  2. Dear Umit, These photographs is taken in Bungoma- Kenya in 2010. It was during dispatching vaccine from the district store to lower level during polio campaign. refrigerated vehicle were not available due to lack of fund and maintenance.

    Thank you for sharing these pictures. Quite interesting. It must have been a challenging campaign.
    Do you have an idea whether during that campaign elsewhere within the country they used the proper cold boxes?

    Thanks for your comment, exactly they do have challenges during this campaign. Cold boxes were used in limited area but not in Western region they were also having challenges in availability of icepack they were not enough so the region were depending on freezing plastic bags instead of icepacks
